Third graders are so special! They come to us as primary students and by the time they leave, they are fully ready for fourth grade. This transitional year is so exciting and I love helping them learn stamina and problem solving skills along the way! I know that the best gift I can give my students is challenge. I want them to know that we learn from our mistakes, it's proof we're trying!

Building relationships with each of my students is important. I want to help them know that they are each unique, special and valuable. As their teacher, I want to help them discover their special talents and foster the love of learning. My hope is that they will learn that by being a member of our classroom that they are an important part of something bigger than themselves.

I am so excited to be a part of the Johnson family! I believe that all children have the potential to accomplish magnificent things. Children are natural inquisitors and I believe this curiosity should be enthusiastically encouraged. I want students to feel safe, happy and connected in our classroom. I truly believe that every child has a fire burning inside their mind and heart; a passion for inquisition and learning. My job...is to keep that blaze brillant
